I don't.  I don't care a bit if Dumbledore was gay, straight, bisexual, transgendered, queer, asexual, pansexual, try-sexual, or any other blasted thing.  And why J.K.-- now worth a cool 4 mil-- felt compelled to make that announcement, well who cares?   Unless she is going off to write some hot gay male pr0n about a dead professor romancing some hot studly...

I swear, the only reason she put that out was because of the disappointment in the last book. Wanted to give us all something to talk about other than how poorly it was written, or whatever. :-p

And yeah I also suspect she did it to steer people away from getting stuck on the bad ending.
